Shipping: Free Shipping
The shipping type "Free Shipping" allows you to offer customers free shipping methods. You can set conditions under which this method will be available, for example, using promo codes or when the minimum order amount is reached. In addition, you can create a shipping method with no conditions at all.
Let's see how to create such a shipping method:
Go to the "Store" menu, select the "Shipping" section, and click the "Add shipping method" button
In the window that appears, select the "Free Shipping" option and click "Continue".
Fill in the following options:
- Method name: This is a required field and will be visible to your customers in the list of available shipping methods.
- Short description: Here you can provide customers with brief information about the shipping method. The description will be displayed as a tooltip.
- Free shipping requirements: In this field, you can set the conditions under which free shipping will be available:
- No conditions: Access to free shipping without additional requirements.
- Free shipping promo code: The customer must enter a promo code to receive free shipping.
- Minimum order amount: Free shipping is available if the order amount exceeds the specified threshold.
- Minimum order amount OR promo code: The customer can choose one of the conditions — either the minimum order amount or a promo code.
- Minimum order amount AND promo code: Both conditions must be met to receive free shipping.
- Enable shipping method: Activate this option to make this method visible to customers in the list of available shipping methods.
- Shipping zones: If you have created shipping zones and want to assign this method to a specific zone, click "Add zone". Otherwise, if no zone is selected, the shipping method will be available in all countries and regions.
Don't forget to click "Create method" to finish setup.
Now you have a flexible "Free Shipping" method that you can offer your customers at checkout.
