Shipping: Fixed Price
The "Fixed Price" shipping type allows you to create shipping methods with a set fixed cost. For example, this can be courier delivery or postal shipping.
Let's go through how to create such a shipping method:
Go to the "Store" menu, select "Shipping", and click the "Add shipping method" button
In the window that appears, select the "Fixed Price" option and click "Continue".
Fill in the following options:
- Method name: This is a required field, and the name will be visible to your customers in the list of available shipping methods.
- Short description: Here you can provide customers with brief information about the shipping method. The description will be displayed as a tooltip.
- Shipping price: Specify the cost of this shipping method. This amount will be added to the customer's total order cost.
- Enable shipping method: Activate this option to make this method visible to customers in the list of available shipping methods.
- Shipping zones: If you have created shipping zones and want to assign this method to a specific zone, click "Add zone". Otherwise, if no zone is selected, the shipping method will be available in all countries and regions.
Be sure to click "Create method" to finish setup.
Now you have a flexible "Fixed Price" shipping method that you can offer your customers during checkout.
