Go to the menu section "Store Options - Product Catalog".
Settings
Let's take a look at the main options in the "Settings" tab:
Page title: This is an optional field, but you can add a title to the catalog page, for example, your store name. The title helps create a cohesive impression and brand recognition.
Catalog page description: Here you can enter a description that will be displayed on the catalog page. The description can include information about your assortment or unique offers.
Product search: Enable this option to give users the ability to search for products by name and SKU. This makes searching more convenient for customers.
Product filter: Activate this option to allow customers to filter products by various attributes, such as color, size, and other characteristics. This will help them quickly find the products they need.
Category menu: Choose the category menu type that best matches your design:
- Carousel (category title): Categories will be displayed as a list of titles with horizontal carousel scrolling.
Text position: Specify how the category title and description should be placed on the catalog page.
Category title: You can decide whether to show the current category title on the catalog page.
Default sorting: Set the default product sorting order that users will see. You can choose sorting by date, price, name, or rating.
Card Previews
Let's look at the "Card Previews" tab, where you can customize the design of product previews so they match your style and your customers' needs as closely as possible.
Card preview design settings:
Number of columns: You can choose how many columns will be displayed in your product catalog — 1 or 2. This allows you to distribute product information optimally.
Preview types: You have three preview design options:
- Image and text below: Here, the product image will appear above the description.
Aspect ratio and image cropping: You can choose the aspect ratio and image cropping to create a consistent style for all product previews. This helps create an aesthetically pleasing catalog.
Rounded preview corners: If you want to give product previews a softer and more modern look, you can round the corners.
After configuring all settings, don't forget to save your changes. Now your product catalog will look attractive and match your brand.
