Delivery: Pickup

The "Pickup" delivery type gives your customers the option to collect items from your store or pickup point themselves.

Let's look at how to create the "Pickup" delivery method:

Go to the "Store" menu, select the "Delivery" section, and click the "Add delivery method" button

In the window that appears, select "Pickup" and click "Continue".

Fill in the following options:

• Method name: This is a required field and will be visible to your customers in the list of available delivery methods.
• Short description or pickup address: Here you can enter a brief description of the pickup location or its address. This will be helpful information for customers so they know where to go.
• Cost: Sometimes you may need to specify a pickup cost, for example, packaging expenses. If pickup is free, leave 0.
• Enable delivery method: Activate this option so that this method is visible to customers in the list of available delivery options.
• Delivery zones: If you have created delivery zones and want to link this method to a specific zone, click "Add zone". Otherwise, if no zone is selected, the delivery method will be available in all countries and regions.

Don't forget to click "Create method" to finish setup.

You now have the "Pickup" delivery method, which allows your customers to collect items themselves. This option is especially convenient if you have a physical store or pickup point where customers can come and receive their orders.
