Delivery zones
Here you can configure the geographic regions in which different delivery methods will be available. This will allow you to adapt shipping to different regions and ensure maximum convenience for your customers. Let’s take a closer look at how to do this.
Go to the "Store" - "Shipping" menu, then to the "Zones" tab
What is a delivery zone?
A delivery zone is a geographic region in which specific delivery methods are defined. The system automatically assigns a zone to the customer based on the delivery address and offers only the available delivery methods for that zone.
It is also important to note that you are not required to create a delivery zone if you want delivery methods to be available in all regions. If you do not need to restrict access to delivery methods by geography, they will be available to all customers by default, regardless of their location.
How to create a delivery zone:
Click the "Add delivery zone" button
- Zone name: Enter the zone name. This name will only be visible to you, and it will help you navigate when configuring delivery methods for this zone.
- Country selection: Click "Add countries" and select the country to which you want to limit this delivery zone.
- Region selection: If the delivery zone includes specific regions, click "Add region" and select the required regions. You can also use search to quickly find the needed regions.
- Exceptions: If your delivery zone covers an entire country but excludes a specific region, you can set exceptions. Click "Add exceptions" and select the regions you want to exclude from the zone.
- Option "Outside your other zones": This option allows you to create a zone that includes other countries or regions. This can be useful if you have delivery methods that apply outside your country or region.
After finishing the settings, be sure to click "Create zone" to save your settings.
