How to choose the right model

There are two ways to create available time in the system: by schedule and by slots. The difference is who controls the time — the system automatically or you manually.

1️⃣ Schedule mode — automatic time generation

You set working days, working hours, breaks, and the time step, and the system calculates which intervals to show the client.

How it works
  • You specify: Mon–Fri, 10:00–19:00.
  • You set the time step, for example 30 minutes.
  • The system automatically creates options: 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, etc.
  • If there is a service duration, the system takes occupancy into account.
When to choose this mode
  • You have a stable schedule.
  • You work almost every day at the same hours.
  • You do not want to create each slot manually.
Business examples
  • Beauty salon: specialists work 10:00–20:00 every day.
  • Clinic: doctors see patients on a fixed schedule.
  • Fitness trainer: regular hours for personal training sessions.
Pros
  • Minimal manual work.
  • Automatic filling of available time.
  • Suitable for regular workload.
Important to understand
  • If you create a one-time slot manually, it may take priority over the schedule.
  • If a day is not marked as working, booking on that day is not possible.

2️⃣ Slots mode — manual time control

In this mode, the system does not generate time automatically. You create specific intervals in the calendar yourself.

How it works
  • You add a slot: June 12, 14:00–15:00.
  • The client sees only this specific interval.
  • Without a created slot, booking is not possible.
When to choose this mode
  • The schedule is flexible.
  • You do not work on a fixed schedule.
  • Time depends on your personal availability.
Business examples
  • Psychologist or consultant: opens booking windows manually.
  • Office rental: only available hours are published.
  • Events and workshops: one-time dates.
  • Private specialist: adds slots when free time appears.
Pros
  • Full control over each interval.
  • Flexibility for an unstable schedule.
Important to understand
  • If you forget to create a slot, clients will not be able to book.
  • There is no automatic time generation.

How to decide quickly

  • If you have a regular work schedule → choose "Schedule".
  • If you open time manually and it changes often → choose "Slots".

The mode can be changed later in the online booking settings, if you realize that the other option fits better.
