Employees

The "Employees" section is needed when an appointment depends on a specific specialist (stylist, doctor, trainer) or when it is important to distribute clients among several people.


When employees are not needed

  • One person works and the client does not care who they book with.
  • You manage bookings only through slots without linking to specialists.

How to add an employee

  • Click at the top of the "Employees" page.
  • Fill in the name (required) and, if desired, the specialization.
  • Add a photo — it will be visible to the client in online booking.
  • Select the services provided by the employee.
  • Click Save.

Employee activity

The "Employee active" switch controls visibility:

  • Active — the employee participates in the schedule and online booking.
  • Inactive — the employee is hidden from clients and not used for bookings.

Employee services

Services determine what can be booked with this specialist.

  • Services can be added one by one or by clicking "Add all services".
  • If a service is inactive, it will be marked and will not be available to clients.
  • The service price and duration are used in booking (if enabled in your pricing logic).

Employee resources

Resources help filter and match an employee during booking (for example, "room", "chair", "device").

  • If there are no resources, create them first in the "Resources" section.
  • You can quickly select/deselect everything with the "Select all" / "Deselect all" buttons.

Work mode: schedule or slots

Your system can work in different ways — it depends on the global booking settings.

  • "Schedule" mode (you see the "Working days and hours" block): you set the schedule (days, working hours, breaks, and time step). The system automatically builds available booking options.
  • "Slots" mode: employee schedules are not used — available time is set manually by creating slots in the calendar.

In "schedule + slots" mode, manually created slots usually take priority over the schedule.


Auto-assignment and client choice

  • Auto-assignment — the system selects an available specialist by service and availability.
  • Client choice — the client selects the employee themselves in the menu/filter (if enabled in the booking widget).

Deleting an employee

  • If the employee has related slots/bookings, the system will warn you.
  • In this case, you can:
    • Delete slots and bookings together with the employee, or
    • Make inactive (recommended if you need to preserve history).

Note: the employee limit and section availability depend on the plan. If employee creation is unavailable, switch to the BUSINESS plan.
