Calendar and Slots

The “Calendar” page is the control center for online booking. It shows available time, occupied intervals, slot statuses, and the schedule (global or by staff).

What you see in the calendar

  • Days — displayed as cards (for the selected period).
  • Schedule — the block at the top of the day: working hours and breaks (if configured).
  • Slots — time cards within the day (for example 10:00–11:00).
  • Slot statuses — color and label show the state: available / occupied / closed / unavailable for booking.
  • Staff and resource — if assigned to a slot, they are shown inside the card.
  • New bookings — a red dot next to the time means there are new bookings in the slot.

Date navigation

  • Arrows switch to the previous/next day.
  • Day strip lets you quickly choose a date.
  • Today returns to the current date.
  • Period selection (1–30 days) changes the number of displayed days.
  • Calendar (date) lets you jump to any date.

Slots: what they are and how they work

A slot is a preallocated time interval during which a client can be booked. A slot can be assigned to a staff member or a resource (room, hall, equipment).

Inside the slot, the following are displayed:

  • time from–to;
  • staff member (if selected);
  • resource (if selected);
  • slot status;
  • capacity (if the slot has multiple places).

For today, a “Now” line may be shown — it helps you quickly orient yourself in time.

Quick actions

In the top-right menu (⋯), the main actions are available:

  • Book a client — create a booking manually (for example, by phone).
  • Add slot — create one slot for the selected date.
  • Fill schedule — mass-create slots according to the schedule for a date range.
  • Select slots — enable bulk actions mode (deleting multiple slots).

Detailed steps for each action are described in separate instructions (the “Instruction” button inside the forms).

Edit and delete a slot

  • Each slot has a (⋯) menu — it includes Edit and Delete.
  • To open slot details, click the slot card — the time slot page will open.

Filter and search

Click the filter icon in the page header to enable filtering.

  • Search — client / staff name / phone number.
  • Slot status — all / open / filled / closed.
  • Only slots with bookings — useful for quick call-backs and monitoring.
  • Staff — show slots for a specific staff member or “no staff member”.
  • Resource — show slots for a specific resource or “no resource”.

Active filters are shown at the top as chips — they can be removed one by one or cleared all at once.

If the day says “No schedule”

  • no schedule is set for that day (global or by staff);
  • and no slots have been created;
  • so the system cannot show available time.

Solution: set up a schedule or create slots (manually or via “Fill schedule”).
